If you’re like me, you enjoy speeding but you don’t want to pay your speeding tickets.

When I was seventeen, I got my first speeding ticket and was SO irritated at the cop.  I wanted to fight it and win.  I went to the courtroom with a full account of everything that occurred and why I WAS RIGHT.

To my letdown, the judge could not have cared less what I had to say.  The cop had a self-satisfied look on his face as he viewed me trying to build a case.  My core sank when the judge recited to me that I had to pay the ticket, deal with the points on my license and, basically, all the work I had commit into my defence stood for zilch.

If you have a speeding ticket, here are your options:

1.    Ignore it – This will land you with a suspended license and your fines will double in no time!
2.    Pay it – This will cost you hundreds (or even thousands in the long run) and you will have higher insurance and possible a suspended license.
3.    Fight it – This is the only wise option, but you have to do it right or you will have wasted the time fighting and still have to pay the ticket (on top of court costs).
